DAVEST Cello

A handsome cello bearing a Lutherie Artistique — DAVEST label, handwritten with the date 1923 and number 247. The instrument features a warm reddish-brown varnish with amber undertones and an attractive traditional outline. The front displays natural wood grain, subtle variations in varnish, and visible signs of age that contribute to its individual character. Its two-piece maple back exhibits prominent horizontal figuring, complemented by similarly attractive wood grain along the ribs. The warm coloring and polished surfaces create a harmonious appearance throughout the instrument.
